More than 57 years ago, Joe Jason, the founder of Jason's Furniture, opened an electronics store in Pennsylvania. "Our customers kept asking us about buying on credit," Mr. Jason said.
Always wanting to please the customer, Mr. Jason searched for a company to finance his customer's purchases. However, the only finance company he found would just give credit on furniture. Always looking to please his customers, the electronics store was converted, and Jason's Furniture was established.
The first New Jersey location was opened in Neptune City, and many more were soon to follow. Jason's Furniture currently has superstores and Jason's Kids stores in Ocean Twp., Bricktown and Toms River, and to this day, Jason's continues to sell furniture up to 75% off any other competitor.
